On World Contraception Day, Countdown 2030 Europe announced the start of a new project phase, allowing the Consortium to continue to promote European political leadership and support to Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family Planning in the next 4 years.

The Countdown 2030 Europe Consortium, previously Countdown 2015 Europe, will build upon its strong track record as a key advocate and influencer driving Europe’s global leadership on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Family Planning in order to contribute to reaching the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030 and meet the FP2020 goal of enabling 120 million additional women and girls accessing modern contraceptives by 2020.
